What is a Super Visa?

The Super Visa allows the Parents and Grandparents of Canadian Permanent Residents and Canadian Citizens to visit them in Canada. The Super Visa is a multi-entry visa that provides multiple entries for a period up to 10 years. The Super Visa allows an individual to stay for up to 5 years at a time in Canada.

The Documents Required for Canada Super Visa

  1. Invitation letter from the person inviting their Parents or Grandparents. Letter must include:-
    • A promise of financial support for the duration of your visit.
    • The list and number of people in the household.
    • A copy of Canadian Citizenship or Canadian Permanent Resident document.
  2. Evidence that the income of the Canadian Citizen/Permanent Resident sponsoring their Parents/Grandparents either meets or is above the low income cut-off.
  3. Canadian medical coverage insurance (for at least 1 year) and at least $100,000/- coverage.
  4. A copy of the Notice of Assessment ,T4 and T1
  5. Original Letter from your employer stating your job title, job description, salary and date of hiring.
  6. Employment insurance pay stubs
  7. Valid Passport :- A Passport should be valid for at least 6 months  You may renew your Passport before you submit your application.
  8. Medical Certificate :- You must see a Doctor on the list of Panel Physicians.
  9. Photograph :- The  Photograph must show the full front view of the head, with the face in the middle of the photograph, and include the top of the shoulders. The size of the head from chin to crown must be between 31 mm and 36 mm. The frame size must be at least 35 mm X 45 mm.
  10. Biometrics :- Biometrics are usually required for foreign nationals that are applying for the visa to come to Canada. Biometrics include the foreign nationals’s fingerprints and Photograph. There is also fee associated with giving Biometrics. Their purpose is to allow Canadian officials to confirm a foreign traveller’s identify when they enter Canada.
